After probably the best nights sleep of the week, we headed out the next morning for white water rafting. We were in 3 boats, two of 7 and one boat of 2. We all found it hard at first but quickly got the hang of it. After a few minutes we jumped into the freezing water and shortly after found ourselves scrambling back to the boat with the cold. We had brilliant fun sliding and jumping off the overturned raft that was resting on Penguin rock! There was much fun when one of our rafts got stuck in a rock and we had to send out a mini search party to find them! All in all it was great fun!
After a lovely afternoon of chilling we went out to a burger place for dinner. It was a really good meal that we all enjoyed!
That evening there was a concert in Boveč, it was the Slovenian 2018 Eurovision group, they were amazing! We stayed up late watching, dancing and enjoying the music!
After another great nights sleep in the lovely hotel we sat down for another delicious breakfast. We then got a 2 hour transfer back to Bled. We spent the afternoon wondering around the temporary market in Bled. We all agreed that our favourite stall was the embroidery stall where many of us bought presents for our family.
As it was our final night we decided to have a celebratory pizza meal and some delicious ice cream for desert.
We all enjoyed the yummy breakfast buffet in the posh hotel. We decided to finish the trip off with a slow and entirely memorable walk around the lake. At the end of the walk we dipped our feet in the cool lake water.
We have all had the best time on this trip and although we can’t wait to come home we are going to miss this trip so much!
